I think the website that used color the most effectively Reese’s. The typical bright orange that we see on the Reese’s package is what you see as the background for the first page, but then as you scroll, more shades and variations of orange and brown are being used to create a mood that isn’t too overwhelming but still re-enforces their brand. The other websites had a lot of white, and then used their colors as an accent but it still just didn’t feel like enough. I like that Reese’s and Heinz didn’t steer towards the all-white aesthetic and kept it fun and bold.
