evermore is the sister album to folklore, and was released in December of 2020 only five months after folklore. This album still sticks to similar themes of poetic storytelling, but there is a darker tone that incorporates more feelings of loss and longing. There is some more alternative rock in this album than there is in folklore, but still features the same artists like Bon Iver and The National's Aaron Dessner, who also produces a lot of Taylor's work.
